I have been involved in photography for over 30 years. Through colour and black and white film photography, developing film and prints in the darkroom, and adopting digital through film scanning before digital cameras were viable. I used 5 different versions of Photoshop and Lightroom before it became a creative cloud service. Used Nikon, Canon and Sony cameras.
I have completed courses in judging to share my experience with many camera clubs, I have lost count of the number of lectures I have delivered nationally and internationally for camera clubs and the Royal Photographic Society. Zoom alone accounts for around 100 lectures. I have written for international and online photography magazines including Light and Landscape, On Landscape, and Landscape Photography Magazine and featured in the local press.
With this wide experience and time behind the lens as an independent passionate landscape photographer, I understand photographers, photography and the landscape. My Strap line isn’t a marketing slogan “Passing on my knowledge, passion and skills” It Is how I run everything, workshops, writing, lectures and YouTube
