Red squirrel hide situated in a pinewood (Scots pine, conifers and a few deciduous trees) close to Inverness.
There is a 10-15 walk to the hide along a forestry track and then through the wood via an uneven animal track.
It is very natural, there are no artificial props, just branches and stumps found within the wood.
Hazelnuts, peanuts and sunflower hearts are provided.
It is visited by a number of red squirrels as well as great spotted woodpeckers, jays, robins, chaffinches, coal tits, great tits, blue tits, long-tailed tits (winter) and maybe even the odd crested tit (winter) if you're lucky. A male sparrowhawk has also been in.
There is a 2 person hide, bookings are exclusive. Price is per person.
There are no toilet facilities.
